Special thanks to Tony for the great video........and finger partly over the lens! (had to get that in Tony!) This little boat has some potential......

(PS, sorry for the title type-o. MHP is not Milli-Hp but should be MPH, Miles per hour, sorry.

Really fun boat; the stepped hull needs to run a little looser so the strut angle, which was giving some down-trim will be raised for future trials. Lots of potential soon to be realized.

Oh, BTW, that finger is insured by LLoyds of London for 2 Million as a result of my work as a stunt man in the adult film industry

Changed the strut angle, regreased everything, moved the batteries back, sharpened the prop a bit more, fully charged the batteries, put in the Eagle Tree and quess what........... Still 40.0 MPH.

At this speed I am pulling between 68 and 72 amps but my 3S pac is dropping down to 10.3 VDC. It is an older 20C pac so I now need to update to some new batteries for this.

Yes, the finger........Is that is why your stage name is ProperFinger an your FE name is ProperChopper?

Put a Castle Sale ($40) outrunner in the 23" stepped hull Nighthawk and ran it onboth 4 S and 5S. The motor was a 3424-1800, (1800KV). The prop was a carbon 449.

On the 4S set up it was a consistant 39 MPH and
On the 5S set up it was a consistant 46 MPH on three different runs.

I included a GPS with my track and speed. Maybe I should go for 6s...after all, its a Castle motor!

What ESC are you running with the castle?
