    HFK Prototype

    Hello Guys,

I just want to present you one of my boats. It was my high speed project for season 2009 and maybe you like it. What is definitely special about the hull. It is completely made out of carbon-fibre and carbon/aramid-weave without GelCoat. Also it has got massive sandwich reinforcements, average hull thickness is something about 4.5mm or 3/16". In fact it is so strong, I can stand on it and jump.

    Hull: HFK Prototype 900mm
    engines: 2x LMT 1950/9
    controllers: 2x AS 26.150BL
    lipos: 2x 8S Rockamp 4400 30C
    props: Octura X447, PS 4518/3, ABC 1816/3,...

Highest measured speed was 169.15km/h (~106mph) at GermanSAW 09' in Duisburg.

Here two videos of the boat:

    And some nice pictures:

      Manuel.

Can you show me a detailed photo of the waterpickup in the sponsons ?
Is it just a small hole ?
Asking it because of my CT-03. I also have the drives very close to the tunnel and have
almost no room for a sponson-pickup.

        Hi Gerwin,

no problem. Here is the picture:

Its just an 4mm tube and a small inlet filed in the hull.

Already watching your CT03 building thread. Looks very nice although I quite dislike the quality of the original seam.

        Best regards,
        Manuel

          Bump to an impressive build!

It's not every day you see someone jump on their hull intentionally. Nice work!

Similar to the H&M Supercat but not identical. Has some important modifications.

@ Keith: I like hulls I can at least stand on, was the same for my HPR 135.

              regards,
              Manuel

Mhh for 2012-2013 its my HPR 233 TwinTurbine. Best boat so far was my HPR 135 built in 2011. That thing was pretty fast.

                          regards,
