SOLD
Price reduced to $150 + shipping without the prop
Note, boat is setup to run on bullets or deans.
I'm upgrading my son's boat to a Triton (used), and am selling his current Fastech, it is in excellent condition, never capsized. No nicks or dings in the hull, it looks new. With Darin's turn fin mod suggestions, the boat runs amazingly stable, WOT even in sharp turns.
Includes:
-Everything that comes with the fastech as if new--- stock radio, receiver, stand, packaging, manual. (except for stock prop-- includes an Octura X442 prop upgrade)
-4x 4200mah nimh packs (deans connectors). 1 set was submerged in a different fastech (Jesse's old one, if anyone remembers!), so I cut open the shrink wrap to dry out and re-wrapped. Been using them for 7 months and they work great-- all 4 take slightly more than a 4200mah charge. (This fastech has never been wet)
-Extra hatch (The "new" hatch had a cracked windscreen, so I usually run it with Jesse's old hatch, as he did a nice job with flotation on it)
Modifications:
-6mm bullets on all connectors (including motor-to-esc)
-wiring harness to convert ESC-to-battery leads back to deans
-velcro straps in battery tray
-waterproofed driveline
-turn fin/trim tab modifications for maximum stability
The boat runs all day long on nimhs completely cool, and bone dry. On lipos the ESC-to-Motor connectors will get hot (motor and ESC stay cool)-- these are 6mm connectors and are acting as heat sinks which might even be a good thing.
I have a bunch more pics, send me a PM with your email if you are interested.
My son and I have had a great time with this boat, it would make a great Christmas present for someone...
