Been waiting for the same one. I managed to program my Aquastar 90 amp with the transmitter but the options are limited re: LVC. I ordered a program card from HK but the one they sent me was for heli's. It would be counterproductive to ship a 7.00 item back for replacement so I'm just waiting until they have the program box. Should have ordered it when I ordered the ESC. Live and learn.
I noticed a similar program box listed here on the OSE website and inquired as to whether it would work for the Aquastar. Steven replied that he didn't know so I decided to just wait and order from HK or try to find a previously enjoyed one. No luck in that department to date.

The USB prgrammer from OSE works for both, as does the card. They are the same ESC, just different labels. OSE carries the actual brand, not generic and also provides warranty where HK only promotes the warrant ideal facade.
Try the card from OSE, if it doesn't work. I'll buy it from you.

well,i was sold a pcard by another vendor as he thought it would work on the aquastar series `cause he thought all this "private labeled" esc looks the same(hobbywing, seaking etc) but it didn`t.And was told in RCG that i need this specific pcard for it.Vendor reimbursed the $$ plus S&H,so no problem.Thing is it seems HK is the only one selling the aquastars pcards for now.
So i`m in the same situation as John,..........Ben have you tried personally? if Steve can`t guarantee it would work then why get it?.........seems we are gonna have to wait. But i`m even willing to trade my Brand new 90A Turnigy Aquastar for a good used UL1 esc or even a Proboat 45A or 60A one.I`ll be taking pics later and starting a new thread on this............Al
Fightercat, Do you have one of these cards and if so does it provide any other LVC settings other than 3,6,12,15 volts? I am using my ESC with a 4s setup and the only option available through the transmitter programming is a 12 volt. Everything I've read about Lipos suggests that a 3.0 volt cutoff is too low.

The Aquastar 90 amp is working well in my SV27 setup. I've got it controlling a Turnigy 2300KV motor on 4s. Temps always come in pretty cool.
Good luck with the trade.

Easy to confuse; Turnigy uses it's name on Hobbywing, HeiFei and Suppo ESC's. Each are VERY different. Almost all Hobbywing use the same card. So the Turnigy Hobbywing ESC's will use the same.
I've used the programming software interchangeably on the Swordfish and the Aquastar. The firmware versions even matched. (on pre-July stock)

No, only even 3v/cell. It's a hardware limitation. I use telemetry to monitor each cell's voltage on my Tx. I highly recommend it. As well as a lipo alarm, as some cells may drop below 3 before the LVC kicks in. Especially in older packs.
Have fun and good luck guys!

Interesting. . . . I thought the pcard would have aloowed me to select a 3.2 volt option. I guess there really isn't any advantage to having one if I can accomplish the same thing with my transmitter. Thanks for the info. I guess I'll just stick to timing my runs and cheking my temps for now.

I also got my esc running with the TX,but not sure of its settings and its my understanding the LVC can be set to a safe level like you expressed John. The only way to find out for sure is to get the card i guess.I`m gonna ask the guys in my original thread in RCG see what they say.In the meantime going to post a trade thread for mine, see if someone comes up with a good "plug n` play esc".....i hate the waiting!!!...lol,Plus i don`t race anybody its just me by myself in my neighborhood running boats!!!
By the way esc its going on a Maus/Bandit(24") shovel that i bought here in the forum sometime ago,i got an Ammo 2300 on it........
Ben,thanks a lot for your imput on this matter, would have bought one more of your Suppos esc for this application if they had BEC on them.As you can see i have no room for an external BEC unit........ Can`t wait to have it running so gonna put my BJ26 esc on it and take it out................Al

Ray can you assure me by that it will actually work on it?...have you done it personally?.....if you read the whole thread someone already asked Steve and his response was that he doesn`t know for sure..Ben recommended it also but he doesn`t have firsthand/actual experience either.
So until someone comes up saying they have actually used the card on a Turnigy aquastar esc with success i aint` gonna go for it.Hope you guys understand my position. Its not a matter of having to buy it from HK cheaper,as i stated i`m would love to buy it from one of our vendors here in USA,its just that i need to be re-assured it can be done....hope this clear the situation......So,..anyone?......thanks for all your concerns guys......Al
