No wonder that battery is puffy, they are all going to puff if you run them down that far!

nice....... it is ul-1 spec stuff.. you have to let me know when you are coming and where you are staying. we usually get together on saturdays at ala moana beach park. let me know and i can bring some extra stuff for you to run.... hows that skunkworks cat? i saw the build and vedio but i am wondering if it turns???? i have a small pond and have been thinking of building a twin so i need one that can turn wide open..

as for running them "down that far" that is not what puffed them, i did it with a 1515 in another boat so they were puffy before i started. those batteries are almost a year old and have about 75 cycles on them. even though they are puffy i have a hard time getting rid of them because they still put out. i have 4 more 4000's coming so that was probablly their last run. i can do a 3 minute run and use 2800 mah. there is nothing wrong with using 2800 off of a 3600 mah pack. i usually run 1 4000mah 40c for 3 minutes. that was just the only batteries i had left because i was testing props all day....

it is the nitro kit. i used the sponsons and just traced the bottom and boom tube mounting locations then made the tub from scratch... i run the ul-1 motor/esc. i am in the process of building a 21 size fe now that is going to use a neu 1515 1y and i am going to play with the castle/neu 2650kv 1515. hoping to get some real speed out of that one. i am kinda bored with teh standard 21fe with the ul-1 motor. it handles so good it almost feels slow.
