    nimh vs lipo

    stock sv with prather 220 prop: duratrax 4200 nimh--27.4 mph..used diesel6401's stock esc w/lipo shield and Turnigy 4000mAh 2s 40c--39mph..got to go lipo!

      Diesel, couldn't remember but did we run ur nimh batteries or mine for that 27.4 mph run? I was rethinking and now think they were ur Team Orion 3300 nimh we used for that run?

            They may be a few mph faster 2-3, but nothing dramatic. Only true way is too do like we did before, keep everything the same and change batteries and note the difference in speed.

              So you guys had a good time at the pond sorry i couldn't be there I may go to Pineville tomorrow. Hope we can all get together soon.

                Yea we had a great time. Rescue boat got the most time in the water lol. My boat ran a constant 45.2mph-45.5mph on two runs temps where 110 on the motor and 99 on the esc both runs in the same range. We got Mark's boat to hit 39mph stock before a motor bullet de-soldered and came off. Mark was running neutral on the trim and I was running a few degrees negative. Can't wait for us to all get together. Hopefully this Sunday we can get something going.
