H&M Drifter L, RTR, Custom Paint

Here is a H&M Drifter L for sale. Originally built by Fine Design marine, but later modified and reworked by Paul Pachmayer. It has had very little use as I have used it more as a display boat, but I am now wanting to move onto other things and am letting this beauty go. It is a stunning looking boat. Details of what is included are as follows:
    • Hull 36-3/8” x 10-3/4” – Current price approx $295 from Hydro & Marine
    • Custom paint - $400
    • Nemesis Blue 9XL – Original Price $100
    • OSE Cooling Can
    • Castle Hydra 120 – Original Price $179
    • Futaba S9301 Steering Servo
    • FDM Hardware – Original Price $120
    • Cable 0.130
    • JR Racing XS3 Pro FM 75MHz Transmitter
    • JR RS310 Receiver
    • 5.5mm Bullets
    • 4” Rails

    Just add batteries and go!

Price is $750 incl. shipping in the continental USA

Seems a pity to break it up, but to strip out the motor, radio and esc would lower it to $550 incl shipping. This would be the custom painted hull, motor mount, hardware and steering servo.

What is the speed of this boat with the setup in it? Does it include a prop? What doe it run on 4s2p?

To be honest, I don't know the speed. The one time I ran it, I didn't have a GPS in it, but I was using a 4s2p configuration (twin 3700 mah packs). I used a 445 prop, but it could have handled more.

What do you think ballpark speed was...? I am very interested in the boat... Are you open to offers? Again just give me a ballpark of it's top speed with the 4s2p 35-40? Just wondering.... I was thinking I would run it on two 4s packs in parallell too... I have 3700' and 4800's in pairs of each of course..

Yes, within the range you mention on the 3700s. Playing with some prop combinations would give you more, especially on the 4800s and should easily get you into the 40s. I have a 447 that I was going to try. The prop is in reasonable shape that I could throw in. Let me know your thoughts $$ wise via pm .....

JMSCARD, thats funny.. Grant never ran it because he didnt want the chance of scratching it... I think Im starting to get him over the fact that paint is only skin deep....

Great boat and congrats on the purchase.. it is a beautiful boat! Pics do not do it justice.

Thanks tiquman... I can't wait to get it... Do you know if he runs a Teflon liner in this boat.... I may upgrade the motor to a 1521 neu and doing so will need to run a .150 flex and of course if it's got the Teflon I can remove and go from the .130 to the .150 without changing the stuffing tube..... I take really good care of my models and I honestly will probably have this sitting in my office at work more then in the water!!!! But when I do put it in the water I want it to stretch it's legs... Thanks again everyone! Without all of you I'd still be playing with a stock bj26 and nimh batteries... Lol...!

I cant say if it does or not. All the boats Ive seen him run have liners so Id guess it does.. but I dunno.

Yup, I had the BJ26 days too.. but started w. lipos... someday I will do all the upgrades to mine so it will actually turn
