Hydro & Marine Micro Kat Tunnel hull

I have this wonderful little H&M micro kat (tunnel hull) 365mm or 14.37"
She's equipped with a Graupner GTX500 outboard. She will run on 2S (7.4V)
    I was thinking about a Feigao 540 10S 3783kV motor.
    Your thoughts please??

The OB unit was designed to run all Graupner Speed 500 motors, The speed 500 race has a no load RPM of 22,500.

With my planned motor choice, I'll be turning 28,000 RPM. That's only 5,500 more RPM right?

I'm following the layup of that Dutch boat. Mine will have an inboard brushless, with a flood chamber, but my mock outboard will turn with the rudder, where his doesn't.

Sweet vid. Those do looklike fun.

I've got a nice Lehner 1530/8 if your interested. About the size of a 400 motor but turns 3900 kv.....ish. Before LiPo it was the N2 offshore motor of choice. Might be perfect.

I use a Mega 16/15-2 in mine on 2S, works great and GT500 lower unit has held up well over about 20 runs.
