I wanted to get into RC Boat racing last season but I finally made my way into full scale drag racing and autocrossing, so I had to focus my funds on that. The guys at MMEU were absolutely amazing while I made my way into the world of FE, and I can't express how much I appreciate the time they took to help a newbie out. It speaks of their passion of the sport and i'm glad I got to know some of them pretty well.
As for the boat in question, I am not one to keep anything stock. Especially with 5 other Lucas Oil livery cats on the pond at the same time, so this boat is no exception. Before it saw a single pack (it actually takes two 2S or 3S packs of 5000MaH each), it received a new Monster Energy paint scheme (you won't see another out there) new water pickup for the ESC/motor, and new props. Currently the boat is running on an Octura prop, but comes with the stock prop, as well as a Grim Racer prop I sharpened and balanced. I also added remote activated Nav lights for a more scale touch. I have since moved the secondary water pick-up outboard as compared to the pics below, which gave me plenty of water with little drag. The boat runs so much better with separate pickups. I ran two practice sessions (3 times on the pond each session) and I ran at Nationals last year at the Elk Lodge in Leonard. Once I got my battery position right she absolutely screamed and did well in her heat. That's all the time I have one her. This is a Rx-R package. You will need a receiver and batteries and that's it. Comes with a tube of Amsoil synthetic grease for the prop shaft, a stand, and some other miscellaneous bits.
$250 takes the lot. Still have it in the original box. I paid $350 (after taxes) for it last season plus the add-ons.
Feel free to respond with any questions or PM me if interested. I would be willing to deliver within the tri-county area.
