need a new motor replacement, was going to use a 5692 1700 kv but its huge, i think a 4082 2000kv would be best
A 4082 is the right motor size or if you have oportunity for a Castle Creations 1717 (4585) 1580kV that's perfect.

This has got to be some kind of record! 6 months, 108 posts and nothing but stickers! After all this what are you going to do if it ever gets used and gets some scratches or stress cracks? Never really understood why people spend big money/time on airbrushed paintjobs and such unless you are running in a scale class that requires it, every one of my boats has at least one good scratch or worse. Can't avoid it unless it's a shelf queen!
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

I still think he stole this picture online and is posting as his. What a waste of thread space. There is absolutely NOTHING to be learned from this build thread....

The Scorpion 3026 1400kV produce continuous 1700 Watts or 3400 Watts for two motors which gives 155 amps under 6S, it is widely enough !Divided by two 77,5A. The Castle Creations 1717 1580kV can redeem 3500Watts continuous. This is the motor that I have planned for the Rapid, with a Seaking 180 and I've cracked the set of Scorpion, the 1400kV are no longer manufactured I could touch has a very good price. I therefore ask myself the question mono or twin...?

I need a Leopard 4082 motor still though, ive got a spare 4074, might just build it up with that and then replace it later on
