Thanks, getting close. Did a bench test tonight and man that outrunner is wicked sounding. Still need some finishing touches like pinstripe and decals. Hope to get her wet tomorrow! I'll be sitting here sharping my props tonight. The wife thinks I have a problem.....she's probably right.

1st run. Not so happy with my camera man, but the boat ran good, put in a few passes just to check temps and make adjustments. Tons of toque. Then I remembered that my phone has an app to record top speed. Tossed in it for 2 quick runs...56.16mph. Not bad for a first time

On the offset rudder you have,
Do you think it is adding a lot of drag in the water ?
Looking at video I see a lot of splash that is offset coming from there.Comment

Not a bad place, however they have these fake swans at each end that are in the way. The pond is set up for model blow boats and the sign reads "No gas powered models, electric only" Don't think they expected electric models running 50-60mph. Needless to say they don't care for me much.
