    Full Throttle Issues

    Hey all,

I know this has been covered before, but i am having trouble getting full throttle at times (it cuts out/shut down ), i spoke to Proboat and this is what they said

"You might want to try going
into your radio under the travel adj, turn the value up. I hope you
    find this information useful. "

Any ideas what this means? surely this wont help.

Also has anyone had any success running 14 cells with the stock setup?
I seem to get a shut down at full throttle as well , i am running 8 batts

    2 x IB4200 7.2v
    1 X Sanyo 3600 8.4v
    1 X IB4200 8.4v

Is the MAH too much for the ESC.

Aswell the M440 prop is that just bolt on or does the shaft need changing to fit?

    Thanks for help in advance.

I am not too familiar with the ESC you are using, but it may have a minimum input voltage of more than what 8 cells delivers under load. BTW the two smaller packs you list are 7-cell packs, not 8 cells. Many ESCs with BEC will not function with too few cells. I bet that it will work fine with 12 cells, like it was designed to use. If not, then I do not have an answer.

Sorry meant to say i am either running 12 cells or 14 cells, Sometimes it will cut out on the Ib4200 and other times it wont.....go figure?
Have any of you guys ran 14 cells succeffully? does it make much of a difference?

          Cheers blokes.

I ran some tenergy 7 cell packs when I first bought my bj. Right now my trinity 6 cell packs run the best of what I have tested so far.

I have run the M440 prop, x642, x645, P220, and a few others. The x642 has been the best running by far. It will need to be detounged though.

As far as the esc, mine started to cut out at WOT the 2nd time I had it out. I sent it back to proboat, and they sent me a new one.
