Dragon Saga 34 inch cat 9xl's/14.8v/40mm 61.5 MPH

Video's from Sunday 9-12-10 of the Saga 34 inch catamaran ive been working on lately. Running dual Feigao 9Xl's on 4S packs with CF 40mm counter rotation props. Hit 61.5 MPH with the added weight of the GPS in the boat.
There are 2 videos of the same run. One camera was mounted on my glasses and the other was taken from a camera phone and shows the GPS reading as I take it out of the boat.

Is that stock motors or did you upgrade them, If so what motors exactally did you use and what kv are the motors. Is that also the stock pair of 70 amp esc or did you change them as well. Nice runs by the way. Martin.

Did you run the origanal motors on 4s or did you use 3s. Martin.

Did the boat come with counter rotating motors and props as the pictures ive seen on some of the varies sites show the same props on both sides

Yes it came with counter rotational props and cables. The motors are reversed either within the esc setup or by changing motor wires around.

Thanks Steven. There is one gentleman on here who had his 34 inch cat with the same motors up to 66mph.

Are you able to get away with 4s on the stock 70amp esc because you keep mainly to short striaght run bursts at maximum speeds. Martin.

All I know is what works for me and what you see in the video. The stock esc's and stock motors also the 380 9xl motors will handle 4s packs. But running 40mm props and 9xls is a hot setup. I wouldn't recommend running WOT for prolonged amounts of time.
