I bought Stevens Mean Machine Nitro with an .18 engine for my youngest son. He has nitro cars and likes the smell and sound of the engines. We took it to the lake one time and I was informed that it was not fast enough. We bought a Proboat Thundercat .32 engine, exhaust and a M445 prop. Had to move the fuel tank forward and dremel out some of the motor mount for it to fit. I was surprised at how much larger the .32 engine is, but was able to install it in the low profile Mean Machine. It cost about $200.00 for the upgrade, using new parts. Hoping to run it soon and get a video when the weather will allow. The lake has been white capping on the warm days lately.
