38" H&M Intruder twin to begin

Well, still waiting on the hull, but parts are assembling. Here is the current plan:

2 x Neu 1515 1.5y (I am using Proboat BJ motors/esc since I had to sell these jewels and until I can buy more)
    2 x CC Hydra 120
    2 x 4S-6S 4900 mah Rhinos (until I win the lottery)
    2 x X440
2 x .098 wire drive and some really nice struts
1 x top secret 4" rudder - those are definitely cool.

My dilemma now is the motor mounts. Am I restricted to custom made jobbies? or is there a place/person who makes these? I bet it is kind of a trial and error kinda thing. What do people do about this?

Pics to come, need to sell more boats first.

What are the best places to get scale looking struts? They need to be adjustable from the side due to the overhang of the transom, so most stingers won't work.

Lomdel has some pretty nice ones, need the secret, man....

Whoa, Seveo, those are nice...... and not for the first edition. I think I like the (economical) ones Lomdel has on his. Jeff said he can get them and I will start there. I may end up with z drives, but probably not until after I own a Corvette.

              Hull in hand

Well, we have hull! The setup is the same twin neu and the next challenge is the motor mounts. I think I'll be ok, the Zichanator agreed to help me design and machine some sweet mounts and we have quite a bit of room to work with. I have the rudder - 5" stand off from transom at the struts to the leading edge of rudder.......

How important is it that the drivedoggy be aligned with this rudder's LE?

Gotta say Sanku verimuch to the Camel for the great deal he gave me on this hull,
too bad I bought up all the Neu motors in the last wave that hit the swapshop.

Here are a couple close ups of the soon to be motor cubbies.

ok, my question to you two and everybody else is this. I have the below strut in mind, measuring the exact length of the overhang, which would put the rudder 2" behind the drive dogs. Does anybody have a reason this would be a problem?
