I have been told Inward for speed, Outward for stability."A quick temper will make a fool of you soon enough."

The real boats have the right side (driver side) turning LR (like our single drives) and the left side turning RR.
The only way I can remeber it.Comment

I recently got word that the timing would be messed up (and could cause issues) if you ran a brushless motor in reverse (ie. counter rotation). Does anyone have definitive information on this topic?
back on topic; typically inward on a mono and outward on a catThe Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.Comment

That is true on a brushed motor, but not on a brushless.ReddyWatts fleet photo

The way it was explained to me seemed to make sense!
If you set the motors up to spin inward .. it would lift the bow ......
If you spin them outward .. it would raise the transom or in effect lower the bow .....
Inward and you fly the boat dryer -- outward wetter(slower?)
Now I have no idea if that is true. As I get my twin drive jolly sorted out and can better understand what it does on the water maybe I can figure this out !!!!!We did it with a Bang!
