    WTT: I need Truck/Buggy parts

I am looking for the front end of an RC truck or buggy.
Upper & Lower control arms steering thingys, shock tower, etc..
Basically like the front end chopped right off the vehicle. Bigger scale is a plus
CHEAP or TRADE is a must! I will take a rolling chassis if you don't want to hack the thing in two.

Please post what you have tht you are willing to "part" with

I have a OFNA Hypey 7 that is in pieces right now. Prob, 90-95 percent of a roller. Havent really looked at her in a while, but I'm pretty sure the front end is complete. If you do not know, the Hyper 7 is a 1/8 scale buggy. Interested? If so, I can get you some pics tomorrow.

Yes. Pretty easily. Or, you could just remove the dogbones to disable it.

weight is a factor. It's another super crazy idea I want to put into practice, but really shouldnt.
It's going on a rigger instead of sponson booms, it'll be the arms & shocks. I may even make the sponsons turn. I know others will say it won't work or don't even try, but that has never stopped me before.

hahahaha!! Sweet idea! I'll pull the front end and give it to you. Just send me 5 bucks for shipping. It's worth it to me if it may be used for an original idea like this! I'll shoot pics tomorrow anyhow.

Danny I got a bag of revo rocker if ya want it. You could make it a cantilever design.

Ha ha... Scary part is I could make you think I was rumdog now..:)

anyway Danny if you need any other parts let me know ive got oodles of boxes of land based odds and ends... If you need something particular describe what you need and I can probably find it... Be it shocks, control arms, tie rods, etc.....

No charge for any of the parts either... they are just old parts and pieces, I am a pack rat otherwise I would have thrown the stuff by now...

I've seen a suspended rigger running and it worked very well keeping it planted at speeds I didn't think were possible for the conditions. It was done in a different manner though, with stationary sponsons and moving ride plates.

Having the whole sponsons and suspension arms moving will increase the unsprung weight many times over a hinged ride plate but I cant see it being worse than being solid which is how nearly everyone else runs.

Steering the sponsons of a hydro is a new one to me but if you have seen a Robbe Wet Bike from the late 80s/early 90s its a similar principal (although again it was just a moving ride plate not a sponson) and that worked OK (although obviously it was comparatively slow back then)
