Have a question:

Bought a swordy 200 from the swap shop has version: AHiB 0B10 01MC 200L installed

I just bought a swordy 200 new from steve a few days ago, received it yesterday it has: AHiB 0730 00MC 2000 installed. I then downloaded the link from Astec models and the version was also AHiB 0730 00MC 2000 so according to this statement is everything I have bass-ackwards or I am reading/doing something wrong? Should I convert the old/used esc to match the esc I just bought from steve and to the download from astec. that would make the most sense to me.

*Update I was incorrect the new version on the esc I have now is AHKB 1307 01MC 2000 which is what I downloaded from Astec

Just purchased a new Swordfish 200lv here on OSE (Ordered it on Friday and got it today! *WOW*).

I connected it to my pc to set the LVC as noted in previous posts and saw that the firmware revision is:

AHiB 0B10 01MC 200L

Is this the latest revision or is the file on Astec the latest?

The 200lv version in the zip file from Astec is:

AHKB 1307 01MC 2000


Documentation is lacking regarding revision dates. It looks to me like I do need to upgrade, but before I do I just want to make sure because I do not have the AHiB firmware file and therefore would not be able to go back if I'm wrong.

After beta testing V3 software, I understand the new batch of hifei esc will arrive with that firmware.
This has a crisp response to throttle... 2 second pause to reset failsafe, and a few more tweaks

OK, so for the 200A, what is the firmware 16 digit number of the latest version?
For the two I have, one ends with ...200L and the other ends with ...2000.

Who has the correct 411?

The latest is;

AHKB-1307-01MC-2000

There does seem to be a difference between the Astec and OSE versions, at least in filename and file date. The OSE version is dated 3/07/2011 and the Astec is 3/11/2011. They may be the same but I did not take the time to hash the file and see.

I used the Astec firmware file.
