    MG Eagletree data

Well got some data for the first time using my Eagle Tree. Not sure how to work everything yet, but I am learning. Once I figure out how to load the file I will.

    Here was the setup:

    Motor: PB 1800kv
    ESC: Stock 45amp esc
    Batts: Turnigy 2s 4500mah 30c (2x)
    Prop: Grim 40x52/3

Gps speed: 37.5mph with a little chop
    Max amps: 73.33
    Max esc temp: 103.2F
    Max motor temp: 84.6F
    Max watts: 1080.88
    Max Voltage: 16.67v
    Min Voltage: 13.93v
    Loaded rpm averaged between 21,500 - 22,000
    *outside temp was 62F

It looks good from the knowledge I have so far.I think you can prop up a bit by looking at your temps.Maybe step the batteries up to 5000mah if you have them.

Thanks, I have that batts and tons of props but I kinda like this just as a sport boat to putts around with. Still trying playing with the file. I hit the wrong button and cleared it from the eagle tree The amp load averaging between 60-65 amps. Not bad for a 45amp esc to handle with a smile.

At least I got the goods before I did it lol.

Id really like to get an EagleTree.I think they should be one of the 1st purchases when someone is getting serious with FE.But,not me,I get excited on getting motors and everything else instead of the one thing that can save my butt.

Yup I was the same way and finally said enough and pulled the trigger on one of these things. I got the brushless motor sensor as well, pretty cool. I waterproofed the bl motor sensor and the eagletree to protect my investment.

This was my last outing with the MG. Didn't get motor temp or RPM data due to an ID ten tee error, I had the connector upside down.

            Motor: PB 1500kv
            ESC: Turnigy 90amp esc
            Batts: Turnigy 2s 5000mah 20c (2x)
            Prop: Graupner K42 carbon
GPS speed: 36.5 mph with a medium wind and chop (didn't really air it out)

Am I pushing it too much to try a K45??

How did you save the data to upload it here? You should be fine with a cf45 on this motor.
